MAS™ T3 Course Outline
Day One
8:00 am – What is the MAS Solution™
This is a general history and introduction to MAS™
8:30 am – Foundations
Our foundations section covers topography of your building site, general soil conditions, types of standard forming systems, and helpful technology and equipment
9:30 am – The MAS Forming Solution™, Lay-out, and Terminology
We will learn the details and parts of the MAS Forming Solution™ and how they temporarily attach to the foundation. Hand outs and discussions of the terminology and parts will be a part of this section.
10:30 am – The MAS SPiFolding System™, Staging and Terminology
We will learn the details and parts of the MAS SPiFolding System™ and how they are staged and set up around the MAS™ structure.
11:00 am – Reinforcing steel for MAS™ structures
The MAS™ structure is one of the strongest and most reliable structures in the world. The placement of the reinforcement is critical to building a successful MAS™ structure. We will also explore other reinforcement solutions particular to the MAS™ structure.
12:00 pm – Lunch with the MAS Team™
After an intense morning of learning about us, enjoy a relaxed casual lunch with the MAS™ team where we get to know each other a little better.
1:00 pm – Concrete for MAS™ structures
Concrete is the major ingredient in the MAS™ structure. A good basic understanding of concrete and the shotcrete process is critical to building a successful MAS™ structure.
2:00 pm – Building procedures from the ground up
Following strict MAS™ procedures is not optional. In order for the MAS™ timeline to work as outlined, a strict adherence to MAS procedures is required. MAS™ procedures are outlined in detail. You will learn the procedures and the critical path for building a MAS™ structure.
4:00 pm – Navigating the MAS™ website

Day Two
8:00 am – Foundations
This section re-caps the previous day and covers what needs to go into the foundation; e.g. electrical conduit and plumbing solutions.
9:00 am – The MAS Forming Solution™, Lay-out, and Terminology
This will be a recap and test of your knowledge of the previous day, and we will visit the lab for a hands-on look at the MAS Forming Solution™
10:30 am – The MAS SPiFolding System™, Staging and Terminology
This will be a recap and test of your knowledge of the previous day, and we will visit the lab for hands-on look at the MAS SPiFolding System™.
12:00 pm – Lunch with the MAS Team™
After an intense morning of learning about us, enjoy a relaxed casual lunch with the MAS™ team where we get to know each other a little better.
1:00 pm – Concrete for MAS™ structures
We will take a close hands-on look at our equipment in the MAS™ lab and briefly cover operation and handling.
2:00 pm – Building procedures from the ground up
We will complete a mock-up of the entire MAS forming Solution™ and MAS SPiFolding Systems™ including inflating a full size air form.
4:30 pm – Recap – Testing
Final questions, exam and certification
