MAS™ T1 Course outline

11:00 am – MAS™ website orientation and discovery

We will do a quick overview of MAS™ history and introduction to highlights from the website and how it works for you. Our presentation is your presentation.

11:30 am – MAS™ on the ground. Models, compounds, and components

If a picture paints a thousand words, then holding and manipulating our MAS™ models will help you make connections not yet dreamed about, and could open your mind to endless possibilities for subdivisions, compounds, and structure placement. We will explore the possibilities together showing you what the MAS™ team has discovered, and allow you an opportunity to add your vision to ours.

12:10 pm – Lunch with the MAS™ team

After an hour of learning about us, enjoy a relaxed casual lunch with the MAS™ team, where we get to know each other a little better.  We often invite trainers, as well as 3rd party field support personnel so you can establish personal relationships with your future support team.  It is not unusual to have our top engineers, CAD operators, architects or company officers drop in during lunch.  Professor Edwards, the inventor of the MAS™ system, has been known to drop by and answer a few questions during this informal lunch period.

1:00 pm – MAS™ forms and finishes

As exciting as the MAS™ structure is by itself, how the forms, SPiFolding, and finishes work together is innovation at its best. This is what sets MAS™ apart from anything else in the world, and our constant vigilance keeps MAS™ at the cutting edge of evolutionary building practices. We will show you how we coined the term “complex simplicity” with our one of a kind building system developed by our expert MAS ™ team and in concert with Southern Utah University.

1:30 pm – MAS™ Discovery tour

The MAS™ concept home, discretely hidden in broad daylight on Southern Utah University campus, is part of MAS™ history that can’t be missed. This singular model proved the MAS™ concept is not only possible, but a reality that the world has been waiting for.

2:15 pm – MAS™ Re-cap Q & A, and Certification opportunities

You will be introduced to MAS™ certification opportunities T-2, T-3, and T-4. Depending on your schedule, the MAS™ team is prepared to go deeper into discovery through a potential extended tour* of MAS™ production, and/or follow up with a general re-cap of the day.

*Depending on weather and road conditions, an extended tour is possible to tour one or more MAS™ structures built by local contractors.
